Symposium Submission Guidelines

Scientific symposia are sessions including 3-4 presentations, each approaching a topic directly connected to the general topic of the symposium.

Symposia proposals must include the following information:
Symposium title. This should be brief (100 characters maximum) and clearly indicate the content.
• The contact information of the person submitting the symposium, along with the appointment of presenters and chairpersons for the submitted symposium; 
• A synopsis (general overview of the symposium) and individual abstract of each presenter - they will all be included in the event's abstract book; 
• Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form

Symposium overall abstract
When submitting a symposium, there should be one overall abstract / synopsis, which will present the symposium (purpose and educational objectives of the session), accompanied by individual abstracts from all panelists on subjects related to the symposium topic.
Each abstract should have a maximum of 250 words in length and will include maximum 5 scientific literature references at the end of the abstract.

When editing an individual abstract, the following guidelines will be considered:
• Submissions must be made in plain text format (no tables, graphs, charts or images are permitted).
• Please ensure that your abstract does not contain spelling, grammatical or scientific errors as they will be reproduced exactly as submitted. No proofreading will be done.
• 
All abbreviations must be explained after their first use. Use standard abbreviations generic drug names. Do NOT identify author(s) or institution(s) in text.
• According to the rules of the Romanian College of Physicians, the usage of commercial drug names or company names is not permitted in the abstract(s) submitted for the event, neither in the title, nor in the content.

"Art. 16.2. (Annex no. 1 - Decision no. 1 / 18.01.2013):
The title of the communication or conference, all educational materials must be free from any commercial bias. Any reference to medicinal products shall be made only under the international common name (INN). 

The appointment of presenters and chairpersons
There should be maximum 4 speakers and 2 co-chairpersons proposed in each symposium.
There should preferably not be more than one speaker/chairman per country, and in any case, not more than one speaker per institute.

The proposed speakers and chairpersons should have been formally approached by the symposium coordinator and have committed to attend and present at the Conference, should the symposium be selected in the program.

Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form
All authors are requested to disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest including any financial, personal or other relationships with other people or organizations that could inappropriately influence, or be perceived to influence their work.

Please fill in the Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form available HERE, sign it and send it to the Conference Secretariat at rezumate@congrespsihiatrie.ro by 01 August 2020 the latest.

Workshop Submission Guidelines

Workshops are sessions aimed at helping participants increase their level of understanding and competence in a particular area of interest. Such sessions may include the active participation of the public.

Workshop proposals must include the following information:
• Workshop title. This should be brief (100 characters maximum) and clearly indicate the content; 
• The contact information of the person submitting the symposium, along with the appointment of presenters and chairpersons for the submitted workshop; 
• A synopsis (general overview of the symposium) and individual abstract of each presenter - they will all be included in the event's abstract book;
