PAUL SORINEL PLETEA

I am a primary psychiatrist; I work at ˝Prof. Dr. Alexandru Obregia˝ Clinical Hospital of Psychiatry, Bucharest, where I am the head doctor of the department. I am the National Coordinator of the National Mental Health Program, the subprogram for drug addicts. I worked with patients with addictions both at Obregia Hospital and at Rahova Penitentiary Hospital.
For about 5 years, I have been collaborating, on behalf of the hospital, with the Special Operations Office of the Bucharest Police, in situations of negotiation with people with self and hetero-aggressive potential.
Areas of interest: emergency psychiatry, schizophrenia, emotional disorders, addictions (especially technology addiction).
