Associate professor, Ph.D., habil. at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iasi, teaches introductory courses in counseling (bachelor's degree), psychological counseling, transgenerational and narrative therapy (master's degree) and university ethics course (doctorate), founder of the Psiterra Association in Iasi - promoting narrative psychology and its applications since 2005 in intervention, research and training - projects funded locally, nationally and internationally, and through consulting, training and counseling services. Ovidiu has his doctoral thesis ”Exposure to violence and its psychological correlates of institutionalized children and adolescents 9 to 17 years old in Iasi County, Romania” from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH, SUA, in May 2004. He authored one book, 4 as a co-editor and co-author, 48 book chapters as author or co-author, 1 academic handbook, and 25 ISI/BDI indexed scientific articles. Ovidiu is an Ericksonian and systemic – couple and family – therapist, specialized in narrative therapy which he promotes nationally as continuing professional training (credited at the Romanian National College of Psychologists).
