MARIO DI FIORINO
President of Italian Association of Behavioral Therapy
Co-President of International Bridging Eastern and Western Psychiatry
Chief psychiatrist of the Psychiatric Department of the Hospital of Viareggio (Italy) and since 2002 Director of the Psychiatric Department of the new Hospital Versilia.
His scholarly contributions comprise more than 150 articles and many edited books.
Founding editor of the journal "Psichiatria e Territorio" (1984), which he still manages. Since 1989 he has been a teacher at the post graduated school of Psychiatry at the University of Brescia (with lessons of social psychiatry, psychopathology) and of Forensic Psychiatry in the University of Modena (a course of 5 years about the humanistic psychotherapy “Daseinsanalyse”).
He has been a contract lecturer in Forensic Psychiatry and in Psycho-geriatrics at the University of Pisa and visiting professor in Psychiatry at the University of Lviv.
