DRAGOȘ MARINESCU 

Acad. Prof. Univ. Dr. Dragoș Marinescu, primary psychiatrist, at the Neuropsychiatric Hospital of Craiova, dedicated his life to the medical world and patients. He is an honorary member of Academy of Medical Sciences of Romania. He methodologically coordinated the national activities in the field of psychiatry during the period when he was President of the Commission of Psychiatry and Pediatric Psychiatry of the Ministry of Health, but also a member of the Transparency Commission of the Ministry of Health. He has competence in psychopharmacology and economic management in psychiatry. He is a member of Romanian Association of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, Romanian Society of Psychopharmacology and Biological Psychiatry, Romanian Society of PsychoNeuroEndocrinology, World Psychiatric Association (WPA), World Federation of Societies of Biological Psychiatry, European Network for Suicidology. He is the author of over 230 papers published nationally and internationally (ISI and BDI articles), courses and monographs in the field of psychiatry, psychopharmacology and biological psychiatry. He has given over 350 training courses for young psychiatrists, as well as courses in the online platform MEDHUB. He is currently a collaborating expert of the National Authority of Quality Management in Health (ANMCS).
