CRISTINA BREDICEAN 

Psychiatry Chief Lecturer inside the Neurosciences Department at the Victor Babes University of Medicine and Pharmacy. She has a PhD in medical sciences and competences in CBT therapy and Classical Psychodrama.

As her doctorate studies followed the schizoaffective disorders, her main area of interest has been the psychotic disorder. Afterwards, she started developing an interest in cognitive impairments and dementias and started collaborating with the Neurology and Psychology departments. Lately, Dr. Cristina Bredicean started focusing on the oncological patients, especially patients with breast cancer, and developed a collaboration with the oncology and plastic surgery departments, in order to identify the role of the psychiatric symptoms in the evolution of the neoplastic pathology, as well as apply psychotherapeutic intervention techniques in order to increment thir quality of life.

Dr. Bredicean is the vice-president of the Timisoara Psychiatric Association through which she raises awareness regarding mental health issues throughout the community.
