My research experience and interests are in human cognitive neuroscience, particularly in memory, cognitive ageing and dementia. Over the last years I have gained experience in these topics both during my time as an MSc and PhD, and subsequently as a Researcher at the Ana Aslan International Foundation. I have conducted various research studies involving both clinical and non-clinical populations.
Working with Ana Aslan International Foundation has given me experience in working with international consortia, through several R&D projects funded through PNIII-AAL (Active and Assisted Living Programme) as well as in a large European project for Innovation and Research, Horizon 2020 (involving 5.000 participants across five EU countries). We have focused on the development, piloting/testing and marketing of innovative ITC tools that aim to improve the quality of life and autonomy for older healthy adults as well as individuals living with dementia.
