Dana-Cristina Herța is Lecturer at the Department of Medical Psychology and Psychiatry, „Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Cluj-Napoca and co-coordinator of the students research group of the Department, Human Resources and Training Coordinator at the Romanian Alliance for Suicide Prevention, National Representative of Romania in IASP, member of the Editors Board of the journal Psihiatru.ro. Professional training: specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry, doctoral and postdoctoral scholarships, PhD in PTSD and postdoctoral studies in trauma exposure, trained & trainer in the ARPS method of suicide crisis intervention, Youth Aware of Mental Health instructor, trained in Positive and transcultural psychotherapy, Psychological First Aid and management of trauma exposure and suicide risk in vulnerable populations. She also served as curriculum expert for professional training in depression and suicide risk management in a POCU project and expert in the technical group for the national program for child support. Research experience in 2 international FP7 projects and 2 national research grants, coordinator of the Awareness intervention for mental health in adolescents. In the past 10 years she (co)authored 3 books and 10 book chapters, 23 articles indexed ISI or in other databases, organized conferences and workshops, delivered presentations in international congresses and coordinated 2 presentations awarded with the 2nd, and 3rd prize respectively, in the 2017 and 2018 editions of the Medicalis Congress.
