Assist. Prof. Stanciu is a specialist gynaecological surgeon with a broad international experience gained in some of the best hospitals across Europe. He has a PhD in Gynaecological Oncology and is an ESGO accredited sub-specialist in Gynaecological Oncology. 

Assist. Prof. Stanciu is the first surgeon with double SERGS accreditation for both da Vinci and Versius robots. At West Herts Assist. Prof. Stanciu is performing some of the most advanced robotic surgeries. For that reason, Watford Cancer Centre became a referral centre for robotics, hosting visiting surgeons from around the world.

Assist. Prof. Stanciu is Assistant Professor at the Gynaecology Department of St. George’s University School of Medicine. His practice extends to The Wellington Hospital in Central London and Ponderas Academic Hospital in Bucharest.
