Prof. Ulmeanu is a Professor and Director of Medical and Surgical Disciplines of the Faculty of General Medicine, Titu Maiorescu University, Bucharest.Assoc. 

Prof. Ulmeanu is the Honorary President of the Royal Club of Physicians and President of the Romanian Hernia Club.Assoc. 

Prof. Ulmeanu has an old and constant interest in the field of minimally invasive surgery, with participation as a course director and expert in the courses organized by the Surgical Training Institute and R.A.E.S.
