Senior Consultant in General Surgery at General and Hepato-biliary Surgery Division, Sant’ Andrea Hospital, Department of Medical Surgical Sciences and Translational Medicine, University “La Sapienza” of Rome, Italy. Specialist in general surgery since 2005, with interests in minimally invasive surgery, bariatric surgery, digestive and hepatobiliary surgery. Specialization co-supervised by University “La Sapienza” of Rome, Italy – "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy Bucharest, Romania between 2000-2005. General surgery activity between 2008-2016 in Romania, in academic medical facilities, including as Chief of the Surgical Department between 2009-2014. Ph.D. student at "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest 2005-2010. Ph.D. in Morphogenesis and Tissue Engineering 2016-2019 at the University “La Sapienza of Rome”. Postdoctoral fellowship at the same University 2023-2024.
