Prof. Duță is a leading authority in thoracic and laparoscopic surgery and has of recent years specialized in robotic surgery. His interests are broad and far-ranging, including radical procedures in gastric cancer and obesity, minimally invasive techniques, policies and practices in diagnosing colorectal cancer, varicose complications, as well as the formation and training of medical professionals. His extended experience as a surgeon and his active participation in research and clinical studies show strategic thinking, ambition and spontaneity, capable of creating a proper environment for study and self development.
