President of the Swiss Peritoneal Cancer Group, past President of the Swiss Association of Minimally Invasive Surgery and past member of the Education and Training Committee of the European Association of Endoscopic Surgery (EAES). Organizer of the European Colorectal Congress of St. Gallen. Regional representative of Central Europe and member of the Programme Committee of the European Society of Coloproctology (ESCP). Founding member of the CAS Swiss Biodesign for MedTech Innovators taught at the Zürich University of Applied Sciences. Fellowship trained at the University of Toronto, ON and Cleveland, OH.
