Juan A. SÁNCHEZ-MARGALLO

Ph.D. in Computer Science with European Mention from the University of Extremadura (Spain), obtaining the Extraordinary Doctorate Award. In 2008 he obtained a research staff training grant from the Extremadura Regional Government. Predoctoral visiting researcher at the Computer Vision Group, Department of Computer Science, University of Bristol (UK) for six months. Postdoctoral specialization at the Medical Technology Department of SINTEF (Norway) and the Department of Biomechanical Engineering of the Technical University of Delft (The Netherlands). Since 2017 he is a Scientific Researcher at the Bioengineering and Health Technology Unit of the Jesús Usón Minimally Invasive Surgery Centre in Cáceres (Spain). Member of the Technological Committee of the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery (EAES).
