FRANCESCO BEDOGNI

Dr. Francesco Bedogni is the Director of the Interventional Cardiology and Vascular Radiology Unit at Policlinico San Donato Research Hospital since July 2015.

During his professional career he has managed or supervised a total number of about 1500 invasive cardiology procedures, in addition to 1000 coronary angiographies, 1000 coronary revasculations, 500 peripheral angiographies, 300 peripheral angioplasties, 50 carotid stenting, 100 TAVR, 50 mitraclip procedures.

He has published over 250 scientific papers or abstracts, 125 have been reviewed on Pub Med. These publications have been rated with 406,37 points of Impact Factor with an average of 3,66 points of Impact factor per publication (Research Gate).

He has participated in 250 national and international conferences as a chairman or speaker.He is an European Proctor for TAVI and MITRACLIP for Medtronic, St Jude, Abbott and Boston Scientific. He is a consultant for these techniques in many Italian and foreign hospitals.
