DANIELA BARTOȘ

Dr. Daniela Bartoş, MD, PhD is professor of Internal Medicine at ‘Carol Davila’ University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest and runs the Internal Medicine University Clinic of the Clinical Emergency Hospital Bucharest. She is Consultant in Internal Medicine and Cardiology as well as specialist of Public Health and has held several leading positions in the Ministry of Health.

She is an active member of the scientific community with many abstract and conferences presented at national and international congresses. Furthermore, she has directed and organized several national teaching courses on topics related to cardiovascular diseases. Since 2008 she is a European specialist in arterial hypertension and from 2014 to 2017 she has been the President of the Hypertension Working Group of the Romanian Society of Cardiology. From 2014 to 2017 she was also President of the Romanian Subsidiary of the Balkan Medical Union. From 2009 she is Fellow of American College of Physicians and from 2012 Fellow of the European Federation of Internal Medicine.

She has received many scientific as well as honorary prizes including the ‘Order of Romanian Star’ in 2002.
