Ștefan Moț, born on 23 January 1967.
Professional formation: graduated as Medical Doctor in 1992 at University of Medicine "Iuliu Hatieganu" Cluj-Napoca, became a resident in cardiology in 1994 and was titled as Specialist in Cardiology in the same University in 1998, then Senior Cardiologist in 2002.
Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the Heart Institute of Cluj-Napoca with certificate from 2000. Numerous short and medium term training stages in USA, Germany, Italy, France, Netherlands, Switzerland, Hungary.
Currently Senior Interventional Cardiologist at the Heart Institute and in the Ares Hospital (Medical Director) from Cluj-Napoca.

- Revascularization in ACS - local pioneer, helping in building a 24/7 program for STEMI in the Heart Institute from 1999, with more than 4000 PPCI in STEMI;

- Structural heart disease interventions;
- 350 TAVR experience form 2016;
- Pulmonary and Mitral valvuloplasty;
- ASD, PFO, PDA percutaneous closure;
- Peripheral interventions
-Carotid stenting, Renal, Iliac, Femoral and below-the-knee interventions;
- Aortic disease endovascular treatment (EVAR, TEVAR)
Scientific work
- 50 papers published, 3 book chapters, Member of the ESC, RSC, EAPCI, EBC President of the Working Group of Interventional Cardiology of the Romanian Society of Cardiology from 2014 to 2017.
