Dr. Bougioukakis Petros, Msc graduated from the “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Bucharest in 2002.

He underwent training as a cardiac surgeon in the Department of Cardiac Surgery at Rhön Klinik Campus Bad Neustadt an der Saale and in 2013 obtained the German board qualification for the specialization.

Since 2015 is a senior physician in the Department of Cardiac Surgery at Rhön Klinik Campus Bad Neustadt an der Saale.

The main field of expertise is the aortic valve and the aortic surgery.

He is the first author or co-author of 14 scientific articles published in PubMed-listed journals.
