MARCO DIENA

Doctor MARCO DIENA graduated in 1985 at Turin University Magna con Laude on Heart Transplantation on French experience with professor V.Dor master in left ventricular aneurysm repair. From 1988 to '95 assistant in San Donato Hospital, the first Cardiac center in Italy.

From 1995 to 2002 Chief Cardiac Surgery in the first Cardiac Center in Piemonte with 1200 operations/ year. Specialized in total arterial myocardial revascularisation and minimally invasive aortic and mitral valve repair.  In 2001he performed  the first cardiac operation with the Da Vinci Robotic System and training . President of The Cardioteam Foundation for prevention and training in cardiovascular diseases since 2008.

Dr Diena has accomplished more than 14.000 cardiac procedures in Italy and abroad and has organized 21 International Congress with live operations as well during great meetings like Euroecho and Eurocardiology. Was recently asked to join the Faculty in New York next year at the 'Mitral Conclave'.
