SILVIUS NEGOIȚĂ

Born on April 19, 1974, in the town of Câmpina. He attended the courses of the "Nicolae Grigorescu" National College in the same locality. Immediately after, he was admitted to the "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, where he graduated in 1998. He had the chance to train in residency at the AIC Clinic of the Bucharest Central Military Clinical Hospital, led by that time by Prof. Dr. Șerban Marinescu. He had managed to form a collective of professionals, dedicated to medical, scientific and resident training activities. Shortly after, as a specialist physician, he took a competitive position as an AIC physician at the Elias University Emergency Hospital.

He was involved in all educational and research projects, and in October 2009, he became, by competition, a Teaching Assistant and was offered the opportunity to attend Doctoral School courses. He participated in all the specific activities of the AIC Clinic, trying to maintain and raise the educational level. He actively assisted in the AIC course and practical work for students, midwives and nurses and was involved in the training of resident doctors. In 2013, he became Head of the AIC Department at the Elias University Emergency Hospital and Head of Works at the "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest in 2020.

He participated as a founding member in the establishment of the Romanian Difficult Airway Association and joined the profile team as a speaker/trainer. At the same time, he was involved as a lecturer/trainer and/or organizer within the SRATI Congress, ROSPEN, Mechanical Ventilation Symposiums, inhalation anesthesia courses and simulation in mechanical ventilation. He was co-opted as a team member of 6 international grants/projects and as many clinical trials under the auspices of ESA and ESICM. He is also the main author or co-author of 28 ISI Thomson Reuters indexed articles.
