ERAN SEGAL

Born and raised in Israel, Dr. Segal graduated from medical school in the Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Israel. After military service as a physician, he started training in Anaesthesiology followed by a fellowship in Critical Care at the University of Florida.

Dr. Segal was the Director of the General ICU at the Sheba Medical Center for 12 years and for the last 9 years has been the Director of the Department of Anaesthesia, Intensive Care and Pain Medicine at the Assuta Medical Centers, the largest private hospital network in Israel.

He served as the Chairman of the Israeli Society of Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Segal’s main interests are monitoring, mechanical ventilation and the use of electronic medical records.
