Alina Nicoară

Alina Nicoară, MD, FASE, is Associate Professor of Anesthesiology with Tenure and Director of Perioperative Echocardiography at Duke University. Dr. Nicoară is also past-Chair of the Council on Perioperative Echocardiography in the American Society of Echocardiography and Co-Director of the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists ECHO WEEK annual conference on perioperative echocardiography. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific papers and has edited books on cardiac anesthesia and perioperative echocardiography.
