Jose fortino

Professional career:

Jose Fortino is the Global Marketing Manager for Professional Services and Solutions for patient monitoring and connected care solutions.

Jose started his career in healthcare in Spain, where during 6 years he looked after patient monitoring, clinical information systems and other solutions all in the healthcare IT world as an account manager and subsequently key account manager.

After moving to the UK in 2012, Jose became a clinical information systems sales specialist, looking after electronic medical records, device interoperability and engaging with R&D to develop and bring meaningful IT solutions to the UK market. Early in 2016, after 3 years in a dual role as Healthcare IT account manager and team leader for the implementation team, Jose was promoted to the position of patient monitoring business manager.

Jose moved to Germany in January 2018 to adopt a global Professional Services and Solutions for patient monitoring and connected care solutions. His mission is to bring even closely together Philips monitoring and IT & data solutions, aiming at deploying sustainable change through meaningful technology deployments along the patient journey.

E.A.E. School of Business Administrators, in affiliation with the Polytechnic University of Barcelona (UPC).

Master of Science in Physics.

Specialization in Electronic Engineering - University of Barcelona (UB).
