e-Posters Guidelines

If your abstract has been accepted by the Scientific Committee for the e-Poster sessions, you are kindly asked to design the electronic poster according to the guidelines presented below. 

Please send the e-Poster in .PDF format (in English) until 15 November, 2020 to rezumate@arcecongres.ro.

Note: In order to have the e-Poster included in the gallery, the presenting author must register to the Symposia (by filling in the online registration form and paying the registration fee).

The e-Posters’ presentation at v-Metabolic & Robotic Surgery Symposia 2020 includes two components: a .PDF and a 3-minute video recording. These will be displayed as follows:

1. Poster Gallery
The e-Posters (.PDF) will be displayed throughout the event in the Symposia Portal, in the Poster Gallery section, for participants to download them.

2. Presentation during the e-Posters session
Each e-Poster will be presented by its author through a 3-minute pre-recorded video, which will be broadcasted in the time allotted in the scientific program.

In order to answer live the questions asked by the participants, the presenters will have to log in to the Symposia Portal throughout the session in which they are scheduled.

The pre-recording of the presentation will be done according to the instructions sent by the Organizers to the e-mail address indicated by the presenting author.

Recommendations for preparing the e-Posters:

• Mandatory format: .PDF for Poster Gallery and .PDF / .PPT for the video recording
• Mandatory orientation: LANDSCAPE
• Mandatory size: Width - 20 inches (50.8 cm, 1920 px), Height - 11.25 inches (28.57 cm, 1080 px)
• Maximum accepted size: 20mb / e-Poster
• Content organization: It is recommended that you organize your content in the following sections: Introduction and objectives, Material and method, Results, Conclusions
• Recommended fonts: Arial, Calibri, Times New Roman
• Recommended font size for the title: 20 pt.
  
• Recommended font size for the content: 14 pt.
  
• For a better visibility, it is recommended that you use bright fonts on a darker background.
• To enhance the quality of your presentation, it is recommended that you insert graphics and photos to sustain the content of your paper.
