Spanish surgeon specialized in upper GI and bariatric surgery with special interest in innovation in minimally invasive surgery and surgical safety. She completed her PhD in 2022 and has published several papers in high impact journals. She is also specifically trained in safe use of surgical energy, holding the FUSE certification, and emergency surgery, holding the ATLS and DSTC certifications. She actively collaborates in different surgical societies: she is member of the Quality and Safety Committee and the Young Group of the Spanish Association of Surgeons (AEC) and current Chair of the Young Committee of the EAES.
