petru ifteni
Prof. Petru Ifteni is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy „Gr. T. Popa "Iași, class of 1999 and of the Transilvania University of Brașov, Faculty of Economics and business administration, class of 2011.
He is the head of the Clinical Psychiatry Section III of the Clinical Hospital of Psychiatry and Neurology in Brașov.
Since 2015 he is Vice-Dean with Research and Internationalization of the Faculty of Medicine within the Transilvania University of Brașov. He is a member of the Senate of the Transilvania University of Brașov.
Prof. Dr. Petru Ifteni is the author and co-author of 5 specialized volumes and over 70 scientific papers published in the country and abroad. Research in psychiatry has led to the publication of more than 30 ISI Thomson-Reuters indexed articles, many in well-known journals such as Schizophrenia Research, Acta Psychiatrica Scandinavica, CNS Drugs, American Journal of Therapeutics, Psychiatric Quarterly and Journal of Affective Disorders.
He has participated as a speaker at WPA, ECNP and EPA, as well as numerous national events dedicated to schizophrenia, cognitive impairment and emotional disorders.
