Mihaela Stancu is a child and adolescent psychiatrist and a teaching assistant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department, Faculty of Medicine, University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila”, Bucharest. Through these roles, she follows clinical and research activity in the field of pediatric psychiatry.
The clinical and research activity were followed by scientific papers and oral presentations in national and international congresses and conferences, along with the team from the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic, “Alexandru Obregia” Clinical Hospital of Psychiatry.
She is a PhD student in Psychiatry, with the main field of interest being pervasive developmental disorder. She took part in the elaboration of chapters from medical books in ''Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Manual'', coordinated by Prof. Dr. Iuliana Dobrescu and ''Incursiune în lumea copilului cu TSA – ghid pentru părinți'' coordinated by Ș.L. Dr. Florina Rad.
Mihaela Stancu is a member of ARPCAPA (Romanian Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions), ECNP (European College of Neuropsychopharmacology) and is a part of the young clinicians’ network in the COST action Advancing Social Inclusion through Technology and Empowerment.
