As Lecturer in the Discipline of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest, Florina Rad is involved in teaching and research activities in the field of pediatric psychiatry.
She currently leads the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic within the "Prof. Dr. Alexandru Obregia" Clinical Psychiatric Hospital and, since 2017, she is the president of ARPCAPA (Romanian Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Associated Professions).
Dr. Florina Rad's research activity has resulted in articles and papers presented at national and international conferences.
She is the author or co-author of some chapters in specialized treatises and coordinator of the volume "Incursion into the world of the child with ASD - a guide for parents".
Dr. Florina Rad coordinates the pilot research program “INCLEN Epidemiological Research on Autism in Romania-Pilot (IN- ERAR)”, a project developed in partnership with the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
She, also, participates as an expert in national Child and Adolescent Mental Health programs and represents the national network in the COST Advancing Social Inclusion through Technology and Empowerment action.
