Davor Mucic (DM), a psychiatrist in Denmark with a special interest in the use of technology in the provision of mental health care (e-Mental Health). Dr. Davor Mucic established Little Prince Psychiatric Centre in Copenhagen where he developed telepsychiatry in 2000. http://www.denlilleprins.org
In 2011 Dr. Davor Mucic launched Telemental Health Section within EPA (European Psychiatric Association).
In 2015 Dr. Davor Mucic re-activated the Section on Informatics within WPA (World Psychiatric Association) and is a board member of the section.
Dr. Davor Mucic published a number of scientific articles related to telepsychiatry development in Denmark e.g. about the first international telepsychiatry service in the world and the first cross-cultural telepsychiatry service in the world established in 2004. These services are still functioning.
Dr. Davor Mucic described a variety of e-Mental Health applications and services in the edited book ”e-Mental Health”, published by Springer in 2016.
Dr. Davor Mucic initiated and finalized the work on recently published WPA Telepsychiatry Global Guidelines.
