Cristina Maria (Varachiu) Ciubotaru is a psychoanalytic training psychotherapist, educational psychologist and clinician with over 15 years of experience in clinic, research and training. Throughout her career, she has focused on the applied side of educational psychology and psychotherapy.
During her professional training she participated in various national and international scientific events, both as a participant and with research conducted in the field of activity.
Since 2017, she coordinates the Center for Psychological, Educational and Professional Counseling of the "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest.
Thus, together with students, future specialists in the medical and pharmaceutical field, she focused her attention on the impact of academic stress felt by students, awareness and combating the phenomenon of bullying in groups of the elderly, and in the context of the current pandemic external and/or internal stressors on students or young specialists (residents) in the medical field.
