Bill Fulford is Fellow of St. Catherine’s College and Member of the Philosophy Faculty, University of Oxford, Emeritus Professor of Philosophy and Mental Health, University of Warwick, Founder Director of the Collaborating Centre for Values-based Practice, St. Catherine’s College, Oxford (see valuesbasedpractice.org), and Founder Editor and Chair of the Advisory Board, Philosophy, Psychiatry, & Psychology (PPP).
His publications include Moral Theory and Medical Practice, The Oxford Textbook of Philosophy and Psychiatry, and The Oxford Handbook of Philosophy and Psychiatry.
He is Founder and Lead Editor for the Oxford book series International Perspectives in Philosophy and Psychiatry (IPPP) and Founder and Co-Editor of the Cambridge book series Values-based Medicine.
The recently endowed Oxford tutorial post in philosophy of mind with special relevance to psychiatry and cognitive neuroscience has been named the Fulford Clarendon Lecturer and Fellowship in recognition of his contributions to the field.
