Anca Dobrean is a clinical psychologist, cognitive-behavioural psychotherapist and professor in the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy at ''Babeș-Bolyai'' University in Cluj-Napoca.

Current research interests aim to identify mechanisms that can explain mental disorders in children and adolescents, especially those associated with anxiety and depression, and to test innovative ways of intervention based on technology.

She is currently coordinating a project aimed at identifying the mechanisms involved in bullying.
