WAYNE MORRISS

Assoc. Prof. Wayne Morriss is a practising anaesthesiologist in Christchurch, New Zealand. He is the current President of the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists and a Chair of the WFSA Board and Council. He served as Chair of the Education Committee from 2012-2016 and Director of Programmes from 2016-2020.

Assoc. Prof. Morriss is the co-developer of the Essential Pain Management programme and has been closely involved with the development and delivery of other educational projects, including Primary Trauma Care, Safer Anaesthesia From Education (SAFE), and the WFSA Fellowship Programme.
