mIHAI ștefan

Dr. Ștefan is a cardiac anaesthesiologist working in the Emergency Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases “Prof. Dr. C. C. Iliescu”, Bucharest and a medical simulation educator at CESIMAB.

He is a Diplomate of the European Society of Anaesthesiology and an International Examiner for the EDAIC part II.

Since 2015, he has been secretary of a national initiative group in the field of patient blood management.

His research interests are hemostasis and transfusion, extracorporeal device therapy, education through simulation, and intensive care medicine.

Past fellowships – one year in Bichat Claude Bernard Hospital, Paris VI University. He is a Diplomate of the European Society of Anaesthesiology and an Examiner for the EDAIC part II.

He has been Member of the Trainees Committee of the ESA between 2015-2016.

Since 2015, he has been secretary of a national initiative group in the field of patient blood management.
