janusz andres

Dr. Janusz Andres is a specialist in anaesthesia and intensive care and an academic teacher. He completed his medical studies in 1979 at the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical Academy in Krakow. Bewteen 1986-1988 he pursued doctoral studies at the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium, where he obtained his doctorate. In 1994, he received a postdoctoral degree in Medical Science. Since 2001 he is Director of the Regional Centre of the European School of Anaesthesia (CEEA) in Krakow and a member of the Examination Committee of the European Diploma in Anaesthesiology (EDA). He takes part in the work of Anaesthesiology and Reanimation Commission Pathophysiology of Sciences Committee and the Committee of Medical Ethics PAU. He is a member of the European Society of Anaesthesiology , Executive Committee of the European Resuscitation Council and the European Association of Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologists, where for many years he served as Country Representative.
