Clinical practice and interest:
During my practice, I had contact with almost every field of anaesthesia and intensive care medicine. In the last 10 years, I was personally involved in the anaesthesia and intensive care of major vascular and cardiac surgery, heart transplantation, haematological and bone marrow transplanted patients, and seriously burned patients. Due to the recent leading position of the National Institute of Infectology, our Department is playing a determinative role in the supply of COVID-19 patients in Hungary.
Research interests:
- Indications and techniques of intraoperative and postoperative renal replacement therapies for cardiovascular, burned and haematological patients;
- Role of blood purification systems in sepsis;
- Early diagnosis of Acute Kidney Injury;
- Haemodynamic monitoring during renal replacement therapies.
