I was born on April 16, 1979, in Novi Pazar, Republic of Serbia. I finished primary and secondary school in Sjenica, Republic of Serbia. I enrolled at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Belgrade, Republic of Serbia in 1998 and graduated in 2005.
In the period 2006-2009, I was employed at the Goražde Health Center, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where I worked as a family medicine doctor. Since 2009, I have been employed at the Cantonal Hospital Zenica in the Department of Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Intensive Care.
I started my specialization in Anesthesiology in 2009. I spent the final year of my specialization at the Clinic for Anesthesiology, Reanimatology, Clinical Center University of Sarajevo. I passed the specialist exam in 2013 in Tuzla and thus acquired the title of specialist in Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Intensive Care. I started the subspecialization of Pediatric Anesthesiology in 2017 at the University Children's Clinic Tiršova in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia. I passed the subspecialist exam in 2019 and thus acquired the title of subspecialist in Pediatric Anesthesia.
I became a member of the Organizing Committee of the Pediatric Anesthesia WFSA in 2020. I enrolled in postgraduate (doctoral) studies in 2020 at the University of Banja Luka. I have been a full-time Assistant at the Faculty of Health in Zenica since 2014 in the subject Intensive Care and since 2021 a full-time Assistant at the Faculty of Medicine in Zenica, in the subject of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation.
I am a member of the Association of Anesthesiologists of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I have participated in several domestic and foreign professional and scientific gatherings. I am the author and co-author of several published scientific and profession. I am one of the organizers and an educator within the Fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia in my country.
