Passionate about regional anaesthesia and pain treatment, he joined ESRA (European Society of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Therapy). He was a member of the council for five years and curently he is a member of the Board – the first Romanian elected in this position. Thanks to the ''ESRA Ambassador Programme” he founded and he is chairing ARAR (Romanian Association of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Therapy).
He initiated and he is organizing the annual meeting of this association, with subjects from regional anaesthesia and interventional pain therapies. The meeting is being held in Cluj-Napoca and it is considered one of the most successful national meetings form ESRA. The success of the meeting was reported in both ESRA and ASRA (American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine) newsletters.
In parallel he developed skills in interventional management of pain and he graduated the inaugural class of Pain School International, an international fellowship programme organised by WIP (World Institute of Pain).
He is married with Noémi, and he is the father of two daughters Maya and Iris. All three of them are his greatest passions, make his life beautiful and he considers them his greatest accomplishments.
