JACEK MOLL

Dr. Jacek Moll, born on May 6, 1949, in Poznań, Poland, is a renowned cardiovascular and pediatric cardiac surgeon. He earned a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Lodz in 1975 and an M.D. from the Medical Academy of Lodz in 1981.

Dr. Moll’s post-graduate training included internships, residencies, and fellowships in cardiovascular surgery at the Teaching Hospital of the Medical Academy of Lodz and institutes in Switzerland, Belgium, and the United States. His professional career features roles such as Assistant Professor and Chief of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery at the Institute of Pediatrics Medical Academy of Lodz, and later, Chief of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Clinic at the Polish Mother’s Health Center – Research Institute in Lodz from 2005 to 2022.

He holds several patents in cardiovascular technology and has contributed significantly to medical literature with 55 scientific articles, monographs, and textbooks. His expertise is recognized by memberships in prestigious organizations, including the Polish Society of Cardiology and the European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery.

Dr. Moll has been honored with numerous awards, such as the Polish Nobel Prize (2010), Presidential Award from the Medical Academy of Lodz (1992), and the Polish Ministry of Health Award (1996). He also received honorary titles like “Golden Engineer” and Honorary Citizen of Town Lodz.

Dr. Jacek Moll’s illustrious career is marked by his dedication to medical science, particularly in the fields of cardiovascular and pediatric cardiac surgery, making significant strides in both patient care and medical research.
