giuseppe Isgrò

Dr. Giuseppe Isgrò is an anesthetist responsible for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and the Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgery patient at the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato.

He graduated in Medicine at the University of Milan in 1994.

He began his specialization path in 1995 at the San Donato Polyclinic, obtaining the specialty of Anesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine and in the meantime gaining significant experience in the field of anesthesia and cardiac surgical intensive care.

In 1999 he obtained a specialization in Anesthesia, Intensive Care Medicine and Pain Therapy at the University of Milan.

From 2009 to today he has been responsible for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and for the Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgery patient at the San Donato Polyclinic.

The field of work of Dr. Isgrò is mainly defined by the care of children and adults with congenital heart disease who require intensive care preoperative and postoperative support or clinical stabilization in the absence of a surgical program.

The fields of interest are represented by: neurological monitoring, mechanical assistance (ECMO) in congenital patients, cardiovascular monitoring.
