I am a Cognitive Neuropsychologist. Since 1995, I have worked with the elderly and the patients with MCI and Dementia, as an active member of the Greek Alzheimer Association. I was till April 2017 employed as Chief Manager of the psychologists at the day center > in Thessaloniki, for people with mental disorders. 

I had under my guidance 12 health professionals and we accepted 60.000 visitors each year. I have designed cognitive training therapies, psychotherapeutic programs, life style activities, nutritional programs, and interscientific diagnosis. I have coordinated and designed many seminars on ageing and dementia for health professionals and graduate/post graduate students. I have standardized a number of neuropsychological tests in the Greek elderly population and have developed the scale FUCAS, a qualitative scale to assess executive function in Activities of Daily Life. 

I am an expert in the design of cognitive training therapies and I have done a lot of research on ageing and dementia with publications in international journals. I have accomplished my PhD study (2006) in the field of Cognitive Neuropsychology with a thesis on Cognitive Neuropsychological Rehabilitation, at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The main aim of the thesis was the cognitive neurorehabilitation of MCI patients through the training of attention and cognitive parameters of executive function. My research interest is in the field of Neuropsychology and Neurorehabilitation through cognitive training.
