Dr. Raluca Goicea is an anaesthesia and intensive care trainee, currently working at the Emergency Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases, Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Daniela Filipescu. She is, also, a PhD student at the Doctoral School of the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy, working under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ioana Grințescu.
Her doctoral work revolves around nutrition support in the cardiac intensive care unit, which translated into the development of an institutional nutrition support protocol which has been implemented at her hospital starting with 2018.
She is also a mentee in the ESAIC Mentorship Programme since 2019.
Her interests include but are not limited to nutrition in cardiac surgery, cardiac anaesthesia and intensive care, advanced hemodynamic monitoring techniques and resuscitation techniques.
She has an ALS Certificate issued by Resuscitation Council UK.
