Dr. Ștefan is a cardiac anaesthesiologist working in the Emergency Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases “Prof. Dr. C.C. Iliescu”, Bucharest.
Past fellowships - one year in Bichat Claude Bernard Hospital, Paris VI University. He is a Diplomate of the European Society of Anaesthesiology and an Examiner for the EDAIC part II.
He has been a member of the Trainees Committee of the ESA between 2015-2016.
Since 2015, he has been secretary of a national initiative group in the field of Patient Blood Management.
His main interests are haemostasis and transfusion, extracorporeal device therapy, education and intensive care medicine.
