Dr Cristina Pojoga is a consultant physician, specialist in gastroenterology, coordinator of the Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy Department of the Regional Institute of Gastroenterolog and Hepatology O. Fodor Cluj Napoca. She graduated from medicine in 1997, from Psychology (Babes Bolyai University) in 2000 and got the PhD degree in medical sciences in 2011 (thesis title „Early diagnosis in colorectal cancer”) at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Cluj Napoca. She achieved the expertise in the domain of therapeutic endoscopy and she is trainer for the colorectal cancer screening programs.

Areas of interests are: therapeutic digestive endoscopy in upper digestive bleeding, early diagnosis of colorectal cancer and management of inflammatory bowel diseases.
