BIANCA-LIANA GRIGORESCU 


Bianca-Liana Grigorescu, MD, PhD, Lecturer, graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Tîrgu Mureș, class of 1999, specialising in Anesthesia and Intensive Care in 2007.

Year 2011 came with the degree of PhD in medicine, obtained from the Doctoral School of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Tîrgu Mureş, and 2015 with the Certificate of Primary physician in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care. Currently, her professional activity is bound to the Emergency Clinical County Hospital of Tîrgu Mureș.

The professional activity is harmoniously intertwined with scientific activity and research, obtaining in 2015 the title of Lecturer, Department of Pathophysiology, at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Tîrgu Mureș.

The scientific and research activity is validated by numerous scientific papers published in both national and international publications, books and chapters in collective volumes published in renowned publishing houses. In addition to being an active member of the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN) since 2017, Dr. Grigorescu successfully combines the professional and research side of medicine, having participated in international grants and research projects, topped off by prizes won at the congresses organised by the Romanian Society of Anesthesia and Intensive Care.

Dr. Bianca-Liana Grigorescu is also a graduate thesis coordinator, having coordinated umpteen graduate theses both from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Tîrgu Mureș and in collaboration with universities abroad. She contributed to the research community from the position of reviewer in The Journal of Critical Care Medicine and later Deputy Editor of the Journal, where she currently activates.
