Dear colleagues,

You are cordially invited to attend the sixth edition of the Mechanical Ventilation Symposium, which will be held at World Trade Center, between 05 and 08 March 2020.

With trustworthy partners on our side, represented by the Romanian Society of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy and the ICU Clinic of the Elias University Emergency Hospital, we aim to continue the tradition of a scientific event of high scientific caliber and to create an extremely valuable medical education opportunity.

Professional growth involves a continuous process of education and adaption to change. Given the undeniable progress in mechanical ventilation devices, it is our responsibility to stay updated to this evolution. Therefore, this edition will also include a practical component, holding a key role in the program. The theoretical information presented by lecturers in the conference halls will be applied and studied during the workshops, offering participants the opportunity to perfect their technique.

We firmly believe that we will have another successful Symposium, which will provide precious data and skills to benefit us, as well as our patients.
