Graduted in London with an undergraduate in Medicine. After completing an internship in London and gaining experience in Australia, Dr. Braunold has settled in Israel where he completed his military service as Chief Medical Officer for a search and rescue battalion.

Upon completion of the military service, Dr. Braunold started his residency in Anaesthesia at Rambam medical centre in Haifa, Israel. After finishing with honors, Dr. Braunold travelled to London for fellowships in paediatric trauma at The Royal London Hospital and further fellowship in paediatric & neonatal anaesthesia at Great Ormond Street.

His areas of research during fellowship was head injury in the very young and teaching regional anaesthesia for different specialties to provide analgesia in the emergency room.

Since returning to Rambam, he has taken the role of Director of Residency for Anaesthesia and his special interests lie with complex paediatric ENT and paediatric cardiac anaesthesia.
