Past President of the ESA after acting as President Elect during year 2015 and President for 2 years: 2016-2017

As Chair of the Examinations Committee of the European Diploma in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (EDAIC) during 10 years (2006- 2015), he contributed a lot to the expansion and big success of this amazing educational project from 4 centres at the beginning to more than 100 centres today all over the world.

In year 2010 was elected for a period of seven years as President of the Council for European Specialty Medical Assessments (CESMA), an organisation which represents all European Exams in Medicine and acts as an advisory body for assessments to the European Union.

Dr. Goldik is chairing today the Division of Anaesthesia; Intensive Care and Pain Treatment at the Lady Davis Carmel Medical Centre in Haifa - Israel edition (“Prevention of venous thromboembolism”) and 9th edition (“Prevention in VTE in non-orthopaedic surgical patients”).
