Dr. Edgar Kiss is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Management and an Attending Pediatric Anesthesiologist at Children's Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He received his Bachelors of Science in Biology with a Minor in Neurobiology from the University of Texas at Dallas with cum laude honors in 2003 and obtained his Medical Degree from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, Lubbock, Texas in 2007. He completed residency in Anesthesiology at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, then completed a one year Fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology at Children’s Medical Center/UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas from 2011 to 2012. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesiology. He currently serves on the Quality Safety Committee and is Vice Chair of the CMC Difficult Airway Committee for Children’s Medical Center. His areas of interest are anesthesia for high-risk neonatal and pediatric surgery, pediatric airway management, research, and education.
