Dr. Bezinover is an Associate professor of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Penn State University’s College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. Dr. Bezinover graduated from Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany and completed his medical training in the Charite University hospital in Berlin. His main clinical and scientific interests are in management of patients with severe ARDS , problems of mechanical ventilation and perioperative care for organ transplantation. After Dr. Bezinover moved to the USA, he became the Director of the Transplantation Division at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. His current research efforts are related to investigation of causes of hemodynamic instability during liver transplantation and hypercoagulability in end stage liver disease. Dr. Bezinover has published over 30 scientific papers and has given many national and international presentations, mostly related to organ transplantation. He actively works in the ASA Transplantation Committee, International liver Transplantation Society (ILTS) and Liver Intensive Care Group of Europe (LICAGE).
